Brain-Child to the Dark Tower Came
A
quatuor of Avengers on a parallel Earth has got to stop a being called
Brain-Child who has the intention of destroying that world. Brain-Child
is a young genius with an oversized cranium who has thwarted the Squardon
Supreme, that dimension's champions.
Well, that Brain-Child dude is a bit cliched, wouldn't you say? The big head, the predictable origin, the tantrums... We are treated here to a couple of overlong flashbacks, but at least we get to see the Avengers fighting along the Squardon Supreme. Nighthawk's showing some heroism behavior that will serve him in the future in the Defenders.
Ah, these parallels worlds. I admit that I'm not a big fan of that kind
of storytelling, and the comic world at large has sometimes suffered for
it. The Vision resumes well one of my reservations in the last three panels
of this story.
