The Warlord and the Witch
Quicksilver
is back at Avengers Mansion and is looking for the team. The Avengers
are actually saying goodbye to Hank and Jan, going to do some research
in Alaska. Pietro has a strange story to tell, however, as Arkon wishes
to marry the kidnapped Scarlet Witch!
Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch are once again back, so by sheer coincidence, Yellowjacket and the Wasp are leaving! Didn't this happen before? This first encounter between Quicksilver and the Vision isn't quite cheery, though. Pietro narrates a long (much too long flashback) where he explains his sister's current whereabouts. And our boy the Toad is present too!
With this long intro to the main plot, this issue has momentum problems.
Dynamic visuals help quite a bit. Still, much satisfaction is taken in
seeing the twin mutants return.
