The Plan... and the Power!
As
the team tries to get more info on Diablo, they go head-on to meet the villain.
He plans to create an army of Dragon Men for probably ruling the world. A
very original and interesting goal. The original Dragon Man seems to meet his
fate
in falling into a lava pit and Diablo is neutralized. But now, with info that
the Black Widow was working legit for SHIELD, it's time for another rescue.
Hercules admits pity for the Wasp, as he concludes that she's the only Avenger to have trully befriended him. Ironically, their relationship would be very rocky in the future. The Olympian's monologue when battling Dragon Man is priceless ("...the heady nectar of battle..."). How can people fight each other while constantly chatting away?
Captain America comes back, clear of being the Red Skull's partner. What's
up with that?
This is a worthy follow-up to the last issue, with the chilling prospect of an army of Dragon Men a terrifying idea. But Diablo was more identifiable in his old purple costume and mask.
