Still
in the clutches of the Keeper of the Flame and his funny-looking followers,
Goliath soon receives help from his available teammates. There's another oddly-dressed
guy named Prince Rey who's added to the mix and it results in a big brawl in
an imposing South American underground. The hard-to-find Doctor Anton finally
informs his rescuers that he can't really help Goliath. Thanks for nothing,
Doc!
Interesting here to note that the Wasp doesn't trust Hawkeye, because of his relationship to the Black Widow, even if he acts like a real teamplayer now. She even admits how difficult it was in the early days to share command amongst them. At that point, the Avengers used some strange-looking flying crafts, changing issue to issue. The time of the classic Quinjet was yet to come.
Some South American policemen are all impressed by the Avengers' fame. Alas,
this story is a bore, as the Keeper of the Flame remains a bland villain and
his men all wear hideous costumes.
